HD Hyundai at CES 2024  

Interactive Experience Award (Best in Category) 

At CES 2024, HD Hyundai tasked us with bringing their vision of sustainability and innovation to life, and we delivered an immersive 110′ x 100′ booth experience that captivated thousands. Designed to emulate a cutting-edge construction site, the space was an experiential journey through HD Hyundai's future industrial equipment and AI-powered solutions. 

Through our innovative design and cutting-edge interactive experiences at CES 2024, we didn’t just showcase HD Hyundai’s vision; we brought it to life in a way that resonated deeply with attendees and set a new standard for what’s possible in the trade show industry. By seamlessly blending technology, sustainability, and engagement, MC² ensured that every visitor walked away not just informed, but inspired by the future of industrial innovation. This activation wasn’t just a booth; it was a bold statement of HD Hyundai’s commitment to leading the charge toward a smarter, more sustainable world. 

 

Disney Upfront 2024  

Video Award for Best Web Video Short (Best in Category) 

One of the standout campaigns MC² executed over the past 12 months was the 2024 Disney Upfront, held on May 14 at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City. This event, attended by over 4,000 guests, was nothing short of magical—just as one would expect from Disney. Our team at MC², in collaboration with NMR Events and PineRock, transformed the convention center into an immersive Disney Wonderland, embodying the brand’s signature magic and wonder. 

From the moment guests walked down the blue carpet, they were transported into a world where Disney’s past, present, and future were on full display. The custom-built presentation space featured 350 feet of linear tiles that captured every iconic Disney moment, while four towering cosmic hero screens showcased exclusive previews of upcoming titles across Disney’s vast media empire, including ESPN+, Hulu, and Marvel Studios. 

The After Party, which included a 22-piece orchestra performing modern renditions of Disney classics, further solidified the night’s enchanting atmosphere. A dynamic 100-foot by 10-foot LED wall displayed Disney stories in 3D, while interactive Mickey Mouse ears added an element of playful engagement. 

 

eBay at GenCon 2023  

Print Award for Branding Campaign (Best in Category)

At Gen Con 2023, eBay unveiled a stunning exhibit crafted by MC², designed to captivate and immerse attendees in a medieval fantasy. Most of the exhibit’s elements were printed —the castle bricks, ancient tavern décor, and even the formidable scales of a fire-breathing dragon. This strategic choice brought eBay’s vision of a medieval setting to life while allowing for a high level of customization, enabling the exhibit to stand out with vivid, realistic designs.

In an industry where the tradeshows and events constantly evolve, Squared Away stands as the go-to podcast, setting the standard for industry insights and thought leadership.
