Role Description

The Operations Manager is responsible for analyzing and improving the company’s operational processes through data modeling and analysis. This role involves collecting and interpreting data to identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and support decision-making to enhance overall operational performance.

 

Primary Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Modeling

  • Collect and analyze data related to operational processes and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain data models to simulate different operational scenarios and predict outcomes.

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement within operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements.
  • Monitor the impact of process changes and make adjustments as needed.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on operational performance, trends, and recommendations.
  • Document analytical methodologies, process changes, and outcomes for future reference.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to evaluate performance.
  • Provide regular updates and recommendations based on data analysis to senior management.

Collaboration and Support

  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., finance, production, supply chain) to gather data and understand operational challenges.
  • Support strategic planning efforts by providing data-driven insights and forecasts.

Tools and Techniques

  • Utilize data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, or specialized analytics platforms) to perform data modeling and analysis.
  • Stay updated with the latest analytical tools and techniques to continuously improve data analysis practices.
 
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are a plus.
  • 6+ years of proven experience in data analysis, business analysis, or operations management. Experience in a manufacturing or event management environment is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in data analysis tools and software, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

 

Travel is required, up to 25%
