HD Hyundai at CES 2024 

Best High-Tech Audience Interaction (Gold) 

At CES 2024, HD Hyundai's “Progress for Humanity” initiative was brought to life through an immersive experience that showcased the future of AI-powered construction machinery. MC² collaborated with HD Hyundai to create a realistic excavation site anchored by an 18-foot-tall, AI-powered excavator concept. The highlight was the Smart Site Management zone, where attendees remotely operated a real wheel loader located in Atlanta—from the show floor in Las Vegas, 2,000 miles away. Visitors also embarked on a VR journey through futuristic excavation sites, enhanced by a gyroscopic simulator that synchronized movements with visuals, demonstrating how AI-powered machinery could operate in extreme conditions. 

Best Overall Trade Show Exhibit 50 x 50 and Up (Silver) 

The 110-foot by 110-foot booth replicated the look and feel of an authentic excavation site while highlighting HD Hyundai's technological advancements and vision for a hydrogen-powered future. Sloped walls, ambient, red-toned lighting, custom-milled materials, and remote-controlled machinery transported attendees to an outdoor industrial environment, leaving a lasting impression of the brand's commitment to innovation. 

Disney Upfront 2024

Best Overall b-to-B Environemnt (Silver) 

Over 4,000 attendees made their way to the Jacob Javits Convention Center for Disney’s Upfront 2024, including media icons and celebrities like Oprah Winfrey and Jimmy Kimmel, explored four floors of immersive experiences. Highlights included 350 feet of linear tile capturing iconic Disney moments, towering hero screens, and a 22-piece orchestra performing Disney classics. 

Samsung ILP NYC 2.0 

Best Retail or Pop-Up Experience (Bronze) 

Samsung's ILP 2.0 delivered an immersive, interactive pop-up experience in New York City, allowing attendees to engage directly with the newly launched Galaxy S24 series. Each zone of the footprint focused on specific features—AI integration, camera functionality, device connectivity, and gaming performance—creating an educational journey for visitors. MC² partnered with Samsung to create an experience that seamlessly blended technology with hands-on interaction. 

EssilorLuxottica at IFA 2024 

Best Use of A/V (Honorable Mention) 

At IFA 2024, MC² designed a 17.5 by 17.5-meter exhibit for EssilorLuxottica that immersed visitors in a futuristic environment inspired by sound wave resonance. Curved, flowing lines guided attendees through the space, mirroring the fluidity of sound waves and symbolizing the seamless integration of Nuance Audio technology into everyday life.
