Empowering The Next Generation: MC² Partners with More Than Bootstraps
MC² proudly partnered with More Than Bootstraps (MTB) in an effort to support aspiring students from underrepresented communities. From September 15th to October 15th, team members from our Paramus and Pen Argyl locations collaborated in a month-long school supply drive aimed at enhancing the educational reach of high school and college students involved with MTB.
The goal was clear: equip as many students as possible with essential resources to aid in their success for the upcoming school year. The results? An overwhelming response from our regional workforce donating a wide array of items such as notebooks, calculators, writing instruments, and other academic necessities.
More Than Bootstraps is a nonprofit organization dedicated to removing substantial barriers that first-generation college students face in accessing and succeeding in higher education. By employing a near-peer mentoring model, MTB empowers these students by connecting them with college students from their own community. These mentors guide them through the college search, application, and assimilation process, fostering a community of success. Partnering with MTB allowed MC² to contribute meaningfully to a cause aligned with our dedication to innovation, growth, and community development.
