Role Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Help Desk Technician that can assist our national employees with IT related issues.
Primary Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, chat or email
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Research questions using available information resources
- Advise user on appropriate action
- Log all help desk interactions
- Follow up with customers and users to ensure complete resolution of issues
- Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention
- Track and route problems and requests and document resolutions
- Inform management of recurring problems
- Stay current with system information, changes and updates
- Help update documents for new and revised software and hardware
- Assisting, and training users on identifying malicious emails. Guiding users on proper actions.
- Familiar with MS Teams and Conference room support
- Train computer users as necessary
- Configure and manage deployment of computers, mobile devices, work with mobile vendors ordering equipment and working with support
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 3 years related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support in a Windows and Mac environment
- Experience researching, analyzing and interpreting automated system problems
- Oral and written communication skills
- Customer service orientation
- Problem analysis and solving
- Adaptability, team interaction
- Strong attention to detail
Travel: Occasional, 10% – 20%
